Can PC, mobile and console players play together?

Yes, the Bedrock edition is cross-platform. PC, mobile, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch all join the same server.

On PC and mobile through Play, Servers and Add Server, where they enter the address and port from the panel. Consoles need a one-time connection setup, and we will help you with it.

How is it different from the Java edition?

Bedrock has no Java mods or plugins, but it brings players together across devices. If you want Forge or Paper plugins, pick a Minecraft Java server.
