Does the server support mods?

Hytale is built around modding and content creation. Server plugins are still at an early stage. You can enable them in the panel, but expect possible instability.

They enter the server address in the game. Hytale also requires server authentication, and you will find the step-by-step guide right on this page.

Can I let only my friends in?

Yes, the player and whitelist manager in the panel lets in only the players you choose.

How to Authenticate Hytale Server

Start the server

When you first start the server, the console will display information about the missing token. To start authentication, you must enter the command /auth login device.

Click the link

Click the displayed link or copy it to your browser. You'll be redirected to the Hytale login page.

Sign in and approve

Sign in with your Hytale account (the account that owns the game) and click the green 'APPROVE' button. The server console will show 'Authentication successful!' and your server is ready.
